Paula extends specialized historical knowledge and curatorial experience to exhibitions and heritage projects. Since 2022, she has served as the faculty curator of the Avenir Museum of Design and Merchandising at Colorado State University. Her exhibitions at the Avenir Museum include Resist: Tie Dye Practices from Around the World (2024), Inside Out: Structures and Secrets (2024), and Nostalgia Mode: Fashion and Sentimentality in the 1970s (2023).

Paula has collaborated with museums, fashion houses, curators, and historians internationally. She worked closely with the exhibition-maker Judith Clark on the inaugural exhibitions for La Galerie Louis Vuitton in Asnières-sur-Seine, France (2015, 2016). She has contributed to Clark’s subsequent exhibitions and catalogues, including Lanvin Dialogues (2019), Guy Bourdin – Femininities for Maison Chloé (2017) and The Vulgar: Fashion Redefined (2016).
